Guild Wars is Three Years Old
Hard to believe, but Guild Wars is three years old. Today sees the start of some massive celebrations for this momentous occasion. Login to Guild Wars and make sure you take part!
Starting today, Birthday Cupcakes begin to drop from creatures. The Hell’s Precipice end mission in Guild Wars Prophecies has been updated to give a special reward - a Deldrimor Talisman. Take on the Lich one more time and then claim one of the new, unique Deldrimor weapons, specially created for the birthday celebrations.

Every hour in Lion’s Arch, Shing Jea Monastery, Kamadan, and the Great Temple of Balthazar, fireworks will be set off.
Starting at 8pm on Friday, April 25, the Shing Jea boardwalk will reopen in the Shing Jea Monastery. Rollerbeetle racing and the Dragon Arena will be accessible from Lion’s Arch, Shing Jea Monastery, Kamadan, and the Great Temple of Balthazar.
Starting at 20:00 BST (21:00 CEST), the Boardwalk will re-open in the Shing Jea Monastery.
NPCs will provide access to Rollerbeetle Racing and the Dragon Arena from Lion’s Arch, Shing Jea Monastery, Kamadan, and the Great Temple of Balthazar.
From 8pm on Monday, April 28 special third year birthday miniatures will become available. For characters who celebrate their third birthday, have a look in your inventory for your new, unique miniature. Don’t worry if your character isn’t three years old just yet - these new miniatures are available to all characters when they reach three.

Time to login and start the fun! We’ll have some more posts detailing the new weapons and with more information about the new birthday items soon. Check back, sign up to our RSS feed - or even better, sign up for our newsletter and claim your free Eye of the North Heroes guide.
